Great place to go boating or fishing. The boat launch area is usually full with a 15 minute wait time. However there are usually plenty of DCNR boats around that are happy to stop you for any small reason.

Beautiful lake, however there is a lot of mayflies dead in the water which is kind of nasty.

Good local place to take a boat and fish, or participate in water sports.

Great Lake for Family Boating close to York

Great place to spend a day boating but watch the sandbar! The sandbar is in line with long level marina and toward the islands east. It extends down river to almost the bend. If the river is high you'll have no idea it's there so be careful.
