Reviews of Lake Springfield lake

We found this lake on the google maps which seemed to be pretty big, and we drove to this place hoping to have a direct access to the lake or some kind of overlook to stop by and take in the views, but we did not find any. We drove past the road which had lake view on both sides and seem to stumble upon the Churchville Nature Preserve. This nature preserve had a trail which takes you near to this lake. It was like close to 0.5 mile approximately to get to one side of the lake which was really pretty with the lake view in front and huge tree line on the other side. We hanged around for 15’ins before it started to rain heavily. So we had to head back. Would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in a pleasant nature walk.
