We parked at the boat launch and rode our mountain bikes around the loop on a sunny February afternoon. The trail was rated beginner to intermediate for mountain bikes. Parts of the trail were very easy and well marked, and other parts of the loop were not very well maintained and swampy. A couple spots were tight and steep drop-offs into the lake, and definitely not for a "beginner." That said, other parts of the loop were on a country road and relatively flat. The road was not very well traveled, but the cars that were using it did not adhere to the 40 mph speed limit.

Very nice park with multiple entrances. Great fishing, picnicking, boating and frisbee golfing

My one request would be to cover the handicapped dock area. It's just to hot w the sun pounding on the disabled who cannot move to the shade so easily, if at all through the grass, as the walking public. It is a beautiful area n we wish to use it on nice sunny days but no cover makes it darn near impossible.
