The city has been putting more effort in to the park. I appreciate that council women Rosina Albanese reports and works to have negative reviews removed instead of actually addressing the problem. Reviews were regarding the abuse of wild life due to the disrespectful licensed fishermen crowd unnecessarily using the catch & release (family oriented) lake for practice. One can regularly find line and hooks strewn around the foot path. The situation has not improved. Council woman Rosina Albanese doesn't even make an effort to address residents concerns. Instead other council members are tasked with carrying her weight.

Relaxing lake but there are a lot of ducks and turtles!

This is a nice little Park and in fact 40 + years ago I planted a lot of the pine trees here when I was part of the Indian guides. Cool to come back and see those trees are now quite large. I like the trail around the lake but you do have to watch out for goose poop. Definitely will be back when I'm in the area

AKA Burrell Lake Park - Very nice community park with a small amphitheatre, playground, large sandbox, basketball court, a catch and release lake, a few walking trails through the woods and around the lake, an activity room that can be rented for a special occasion or meeting, restrooms, pavillions, plenty of picnic tables and charcoal grills. Great place to spend the day.
