Reviews of Lake Lake frances

Beautiful place to go for a hike or just go around the lake. Picnic tables and space to play with the little ones. It seems like they did some improvements since last autumn which makes it easier to walk/ push a stroller. Also perfect for maternity/wedding pictures.

Beautiful area. Well maintained. Creek , one nice lake and a pond. Pine forest shady love it. And for me closest state park. And me and dog love it !!!

Love going here with my dog. They really did a great job with the tail around the lake and the upkeep. Very nice!

Lake Frances offers many different outdoor activities. For example, they have picnic tables, lots of hiking trails, a lake to fish, and a open field. However I would only rate this place three stars because no improvements are being done with the lake trail. It's becoming a trip hazard with the tree roots sticking out. Also the lake is pretty much fished out and you can only catch bluegills and trout when they restock. The bass are pretty much all gone from people keeping them any size.

It's not really a lake it's more of a pond, there is no swiming, fishing is limited, there is a lot of trails to hike.
