Reviews of Lake Tamarack lake

I love this lake since it is filled up with water again. There aren't many houses directly against the lake which gives it a wild feel. Choose either end of the lake as a perfect picnic spot, and easy access shore fishing. As a bonus, this is a sweet birding spot. We've seen double crested cormorants, loons, belted kingfishers and much more here!

I'm always stopping by on my mountain bike ride from Saegertown. A great place for a peaceful rest. People are often fishing here but I don't know what the quality of the fishing experience is.

They need more places to sit and have a picnic, bring your dog, and enjoy the area. This lake has very little amenities for people that don't fish.

Great place for birdwatching. Waterbirds and smaller birds as well. Sandhill Cranes have been seen here in 2017. Lake is currently drained for dam maintenance and repair. At the moment it's a big grassy field with a lot of stumps, and a very small amount of water, primarily in the historic stream channels.

Such a beautiful spot to Kayak and fish. Not crowded, very quiet. Love it.
