Finally made it here. It's been on my bucket list for a while. I was really impressed with the area, however, being the largest lake in PA, I was expecting more of a lake ambiance in the surrounding area, like you see at the ocean. In the area where the Visitor's Center is, there is a nice walking path, a park area, and a camping area; but is geared toward accommodating mobile homes, and people with boats. It is a nice peaceful get-a-away, and I hope to get back.

Raystown lake is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I ate lunch at the Marina Cafe and the food was delicious and staff super friendly! We took a ride on Proud Mary and even though it's so hot and humid, it was so much fun!

This is my go to vacation spot!! 28 miles of lake to explore if you have a boat. 7 points and snyders run are gorgeous!! Plenty of camping locations, hiking trails all around the lake and a couple rocks/cliffs you can jump off of if you're feeling adventurous👍👍

Went here for a mountain biking event and had a great time.
