Reviews of Lake Struble lake

A wonderful lake that includes fishing small game hunting bird watching and the ability to allow air to flow around you like a hollow Reed. A beautiful sight no matter what the season even in the winter and it has a porta potty year-round.

Bigger than I expected, very peaceful with a lot of bird life. Nice place to get out on the water and be in nature.

Great fishing never been skunked a d as far as small lake small fish not true 5.5. Lbs bass I watch a guy catch 2 3lbs. Bass Just got to fish fir them

Place used to be great and peaceful until it became over populated. Now highly overfished and too many people come to just hang out in the lot. Very tiny parking lot to begin with and only one spot out of the whole lake that you can access. Rest is all private. Save yourself the time and find another place to go.

The lake is not very big, and neither are the fish, but there is a good assortment of species and I have yet to get skunked here. It is a good place to get beginner paddlers out on the water as the size means you can easily keep am eye on them from pretty much anywhere on the lake. If you're going in the middle of the day, just remember your sun protection. Shore access for fisherman isn't great, to the point that i'd probably look elsewhere if you don't have a boat. Overall, great little lake on which to spend an afternoon.
