Reviews of Lake Shenango river lake

Doing some sight seeing in Pennsylvania. #sharpsvillepa I just moved here from Colorado. I was looking for things to do. Came across the Sharpesville Dam. If you have a boat, looks like a nice place to shove off. I took some pics and videos. I'll post what I can.

We had such a blast. We camped & fished till midnight. I will definitely be going to be doing this again. My fiancee has camped there several times, & we will continue to come & make memories.

If you are using a tandem kayak or are a beginner in kayaking I don't recommend this river. There is ALOT of down trees throughout this river and the current in some spots throws you right into the trees.

I was expecting to see just a regular, ordinary dam - but what I experienced was the most badass dam I've ever seen in my life. I felt at peace for the first time. I will bring my children, and have their children bring their children and so on and so forth. I hope to be buried next to the memorial of John C. Staples. God bless him for his fantastic engineering. It's a memory I'll never forget.
