Very nice I never knew this place existed it's hidden on a side street in Harrisburg and I definitely want to come here again when it's nicer weather. I really enjoyed seeing the ice sculptures

What a gorgeous hidden gem right in the middle of Harrisburg! I drove right past this place for years and never knew it existed! There is a paved path around the lake and a little footbridge that crosses over it about halfway down, so it's perfect for a relaxing walk. You'll see lots of beautiful flowers and wildlife, but the swans are absolutely breathtaking!!!

Great, free public city park in the city of Harrisburg, by a quiet residential neighborhood. Great to walk around the lake. Summer time brings the swans and ducks among other wildlife. Sunday afternoon monthly Summer music concerts are popular. Check out Christmas at Italian Lake in December if you have time, the event is getting bigger each year. Great place to grab some exercise or just relax with a book. (Watch out in the spring and summer where you step due to the geese leaving their 'mark/waste' on the walking path around the lake... (The swans keep some of the geese away).
