Overall, we are satisfied with this location. However, we recommend adding more signage to the trails, as the provided maps are not entirely accurate. The parking facilities are excellent, offering scenic views of the boats and lakes, making it an ideal spot for outdoor activities during spring, summer, and fall. Additionally, boat and trailer parking is available. The trails themselves are enjoyable, but we suggest improving the wayfinding system with clearer directions and signage.

The cabins here are awesome. A quick walk to the shore line too

I've been coming here since I was born. This is a really great place to go hiking, ride your bike or just go for a scenic walk. Not heavy terrain mostly flat. The lake is great, but I don't recommend swimming in it, but great for sailing or fishing. Free entry.

A stunning, picturesque little lake! I particularly adore the Purple Martin nests poles - what a brilliant idea!

Wonderful lake. Great experience. We visit the marina to launch the boat. The marina is free and very accessible. We find it very easy the launch the boat, two floating docks are available to tie off if you independently launching. An information pavilion is available (only open on weekends) for a park map - super helpful for first time visitors and fishermen. Bathrooms are available. Lighting in restrooms for night use. Park is well lit at night. We've easily launched or packed up the boat during the night at 3am. Love, love, love this place.
