Sonds Pond is.a magical place to camp! Worlds End State Park is a gorgeous area. I use to camp atop the mountain at Sonds Pond 45yrs ago and I’d go back in a flash!

Loves this pond. I've been coming here since a child. Great little fishing launch. Ensure you meet all the state boating and fishing regulations. There is a nice little pavilion with picnic tables. Bathrooms are available. There are trails a plenty. The drive up takes a bit but the scenery is well worth the drive. Be mindful of deer.

We had a wonderful time at Sone's Pond. We camped at one of their rustic site's, enjoyed kayaking on the pond, as well as hiking along the trails. It's a beautiful place to stay for a weekend or a week. A big plus for us. ..... it's very dog friendly!

Kayaking and decent fishing. Nice place to picnic with thr family.

A good and quiet place for camping in a tent. Remember: this is an official Park so there's restrictions on things like campfires and other stuff. I camped here in November so I don't know what the mosquito population can be but bring spray just in case. Also, be prepared for the weather and wildlife such as rain and bears.
