This is a very beautiful lake with decent fishing and trails for the whole family to hike

When I visited this lake, the back of my neck was hot, like very unfairly hot. I feel this was planned and unfair against me. Also... Don't tell anyone, but I suspect that the view I saw of the mountain on the other side of the lake was PICTURESQUE because it was actually a huge painting put there by the OBAMA and his secret government.

Beautiful, gorgeous,and clean the bathrooms need updated so they don't stink all the time but really that is the only complaint went kayaking an it is truly gorgeous there. Both times we went back to back weekends an we seen deer an cranes both times. It just goes to show if you keep stuff clean an take care of an area everyone can enjoy it including wildlife.

Very nice facilities, with a small museum with stuffed animals and descriptions. Open 8am to 4pm every day but Sunday. There are picnic areas for rent for corporate funcions. Only service dogs are allowed, there is s planet walk. One drawback for some is that there is no bike riding, no horses or atv riding on the trails. You can rent canoes ahead of time, bring boat but only use electric motors.
