I have been fishing here opening day trout with family n friends for 36 years. The landscape hasn't changed a bit nor has the stock fishes behavior. It's the same old great fishing holes. Wax worms seem to be the go-to bait, but if you switch to a minnow you'll be surprised! Even impatient people can throw a spinner or use a fly rod and still catch something here. "Clear shade" is exactly what it is! With a pair of polarized glasses, taking the glair off the water you can distinguish the shadows of rock versus a fish.

Very good trout fishing in this creek.
