A great place for a day out. The lake is small & not deep enough, a small beach is there. Lots of barbecue stations. Parking is free & easy to get. A play ground is also there. An ice cream & sandwich restaurant is available , the prices are reasonable. Bathrooms are great. Alcohol is prohibited. Nice experience.

In the midst of this serene sanctuary, where the hustle and bustle of the crowd seemed worlds away, I became entranced by the sheer, awe-inspiring beauty that enveloped me. The calm, reflective surface of the lake mirrored the infinite expanse of the sky, creating a breathtaking panorama that left me utterly speechless and in awe.

What a beautiful clean lake. With sandy beaches and designated swimming areas this is safe, family fun! Check out the Hungry Bear at the Sand Spring Lake after a round of Disc Golf or Swimming in the Lake. It's right there next to the bathrooms and showers. They do picnic style catering of large groups too.

Beautiful and perfect place to enjoy the company of the family and friends, and also being by yourself. I’ve spent quiet time during the morning when nobody is there. It’s just perfect.

I love the place been there a couple of times with my family, our favorite State Park, and we drive 2 hours to get there.
