Reservoir created by the Surprise Dam along the Blue Brook located within Watchung Reservation on the border of Berkley Heights and Mountainside, NJ. Surface elevation of 269' (82m) There are hiking trails located on both sides and dam on the West end.

Great are to go for a hike or to just go to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Beautiful fall foliage and easy walking path.

Nice small lake to stop by while exploring watchung. Saw few fishing probably will make a stop to try out fishing
