Reviews of Lake Speedwell lake

Really nice park with one of the cooler spillways (man made dam) you will find. It has some nice age to it as well which adds to the ambiance. You can fish all along the lake proper or just take a nice stroll (or bike ride) along aptly named Patriots path (nothing difficult to traverse). At the mouth of the park is a nice playground for the youngins'. Well maintained and pretty clean over all... some cool sights and lots of shade which is a great thing for those hot days. Not too far off the normal roads either so very easy to find/clear signage. Also, just across the way is historic Speedwell town which is worth a visit.

Coolest lake in all of Morristown/Morris Township! It has stone houses in the middle of it and water flowing around it! Wonder if people used to live in the middle of the lake? 🤔

Very great area for biking and general walking/relaxation. There are plenty of fishing spots located throughout the lake, which is convenient for anglers in search of their next catch. Parking is included/free and there's a playground as well for kids. Strongly recommend checking out this lake/park. Great for a walk/run/bike/fishing.

Amazing place with easy access provided. Good for evening walk.
