Very nice lake, for pike and largemouth bass it is catch and release only so they get pretty big caught my PB not to long ago there 4.5 pound bass dock can be a little full at sometimes

VERY nice lake. Quiet, small and surrounded by lillypads. The only issue I really had was that the public boat launch is obviously not maintained. Goose feces ALL over the dock.(most appeared to have been there for some time). I didn't look at the fishing pier, but from my boat it seemed pretty busy. Clean up the public launch and this could EASILY become a favorite place.

Beautiful lake for fishing. The pier here is one of the best spots in Carver County to catch sunfish and bass (catch and release only). It never gets too crowded and is a great place for teaching kids to fish.

Fun place

Steiger lake is our favorite lake for the past 20 years. When my wife and I were newly married 23 years ago we started fishing there.. At that time it had become a catch and release the lake. I keep going back and this year, my biggest fish ever. It was only 10 pounds but it was a thrill. Get to go to cabin fever to get your minnows. Lots of bass and northern off the dock.
