Nice and a quiet place to have relax and enjoy the view

Clean area and fun to fish at.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL if you just want to get away and relax. Whenever I am in the area I sit put me feet and read a book for hours with the sound of the waterfall in the background. In the spring the Trout can be seen jumping up into the falls during spawning season. I have seen many trout fisher man here but have never seen them catch any fish. I know there are better area's on the Root River for Trout fishing. People do swim in the river not too far from the falls though I wouldn't let children swim alone. People also launch their inner tubes from this site at times. The river is shallow here. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BRING SMALL CHILDREN with the exception of looking at the falls. THIS AREA COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SMALL CHILDREN.

Cool place to stop off if driving by (or fishing) but wouldn't go out of v my way to visit
