Reviews of Lake Shady oak lake

Nice place to stop and enjoy. I walk the dog here once and a while and it is peaceful. There is a cool underpass where I believe the train passes over. Also a wooden bridge over a part of the lake. People are always friendly and the area is clean. Plenty of fishing spots as well. Always people there fishing on the dock, off the bridge or on the shore. During the summer there is a swimming area and playground.

Kids skating on the lake ice while I walked my dog over the bridge that cuts across the lake make for a picturesque scene. Sorry, didn’t take a pic! The nearby regional trail is an option for more adventure/longer walk.

Love this place. Super close to my neighborhood. Very peaceful. Son caught 7 sunfish. Awesome
