Love bringing my kids swimming here. The beach is nice and there is also an island with a rope swing!

Ely Lake is spring-fed and known for its size, depth, water clarity, quality fish stock, and lack of weeds. The island at the center of the lake (just a 10 minute canoe ride) is an amazing secret getaway — you’ll feel like you’ve been magically transported to the pristine beauty of the Boundary Waters.

Beautiful lake! Lots of shallow water near most of the shoreline. Great spots to anchor a pontoon and float or let the kids swim. Tons of room for watersports, multiple beaches and islands to explore. Careful around the islands, many rocks... Have only experienced about 30% of this lake but like what I've seen so far!

Loved the campground will book again!
