I don't usually share my aurora secrets but since you're here already I guess I'll tell you that you can occasionally see the Northern Lights from the public boat launch... if you're really lucky.

One of my very favorite lakes. Great fishing, perfect for kayaking. Boaters definitely need to watch for rocks.
