The water is so thick with algae and farm runoff that it looks like pea soup. There are never any waves because it's thick as oil. Water quality is so bad that even the bullheads are dying, there were a bunch laying around the shoreline and stinking up the area. Lake is so shallow that we chipped our (brand new) boat propeller on rocks in the middle of the lake. Boat launch is small and difficult to use and there is only one parking spot.

Paddleboard at 7 am. Lake to myself and then some kayaks joined at 8. Great place for newish and someone looking to get their laps in for a work out. Nice launch and parking, it's newly updated. But still a little secret gem

Boat launch isn't very big and you have to park along a fairly busy road. There was a bullhead die off and the little guys we're dead and all over on the shoreline.

Gorgeous year round. Decent sized, recently added a little floating dock. Boat entrance. Never ate anything out of there, but I see ppl fishing there all the time

Not the type to swim in. Too mucky, looking at about 3 feet of muck at the bottom. Froze completely thru couple winters back, not sure if and when they restocked the lake
