Hidden gem behind the courthouse. Crystal clear and deep water. Visibility in the water is at least 10ft. Usually very quite but one fisherman was leaving when I arrived today and was upset because a group of teens "wild animals" were diving off the dock and being a nuisance. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the local skinny dip spot. It'd be perfect... besides being next to the jail I guess lol. There are no signs until you get to the dock. Didn't know it was there for years. Unfortunately, the courthouse, jail and city center pollute the area with harsh white light after dark. Google calls this Courthouse Lake but the sign says Trout Lake. Open sunrise-11pm.

Can be very busy after opener and in winter but that's when it's good. My 1st trout fishing trip and was a good time. Easy to find small spot

Way too much fishing pressure for such a small body of water. The stocked trouts are fished out every year by fishermen.
