Reviews of Lake Chub lake

Wonderful little lake, clear water and not over crowded. Fishing wasnt the best here in early July but Ive had better luck later in the season when I was here last year. Boat launch allows for only 1 boat to be launched at a time, but Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes to get in or out. There is a place for picnics and gatherings in the park. Very clean and pristine area just south of Duluth that is worth checking out for a day.

This was my first time here. I went ice fishing here after doing some fishing research on the lake and it's near my cabin. Caught a couple yellow perch and of course the big one got away while reeling it in but it felt like a walleye or northern. Would definitely go back!

Good boat ramp, solid pier. Family friendly area.

Normally, my family and I love this beach, but in the midst of this COVID crud, it's just too crowded for comfort.

Hadn't been here in years. Nice place to sit, watch boats. Nice and warm. Had a little lunch.
