For 10 years we have come to this beautiful lake for the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Show Team! Their regular shows are the 3rd Saturday of each month but sometimes there are additional shows and competitions. The newly completed renovation is gorgeous!

There's a ski show there that is the only ski show on earth that has been perfected by the the descendents of the original Cypress gardens ski show team that was a big deal stacking double digits of skiers on each other's shores to create a pyramid of a skiing team. Skiing behind a boat pulling you with a rope you are hanging on to with your hands is extremely difficult with other people hanging on to a rope pulled by the same boat standing on your shoulders to make a pyramid of skiing phenomenon nowhere else on earth has showcased since cypress gardens gained fame and popularity in the late 70's and early 80's it is awesome to watch if you've ever tried skiing for yourself. Who doesn’t love a free concert by the lake. Tons of food trucks. Wasn’t overly crowded. Great fireworks. There should be more free events like this in every community ♥️🤍💙

This is a fresh water, spring fed lake. It's very clear and has lots of wildlife. Only one gator and when he gets bigger they move him. Great place to watch a sunset.

Drove over to Lake Silver today to view the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Show today (which is scheduled for 3rd Saturday of the month) only to find a sign saying today's show had been cancelled. We were disappointed. We could not find the reason for the cancellation on their website.
