Reviews of Lake Lake okahumpka

Our home is on a Lake Okahumpka connected canal. The lake is in serious need of some attention. The last few decades have not been kind to the lake. Development has contributed to plant overgrowth, algae growth, invasive plants and silting over. Still beautiful but if we don't invest in some rehabilitation soon we run the risk of needing to rename it to Okahumpka Bog!

A nice place to walk around fun place tonplay darts etc. A clean warm rec center! We love the outside solitude! Great sunrises here on the boardwalk!

The boat house… love this place

This is one of my go-to places for hiking, when I don't have a lot of time. Two times around the extreme perimeter is 3.5 mi, which is a good little hike. It's close, well maintained, and beautiful. I'm going to rent a canoe one of these days.
