Reviews of Lake Anderson pond

The area is great for camping and has multiple hiking trails. Last time, I was here. There was a dude taking out his aggression on some falling trees, but it's fine because he left a nice stack of logs in the campground. Also, the fishing isn't bad.

Primitive camping...not so much. Campsites are a little close together with little brush or trees between them, so privacy is an issue. Tents and camper trailers are mixed. Not a big deal, "unless" someone is running a generator all night. No water, sewer, power hookup if you have a camper. On the plus side, there are portalets, covered picnic tables, a picnic table at each site, well maintained trails, boardwalks around parts of the pond, and an 18 hole frisbee golf course. Military police will check your permits every few days.

I absolutely love this place been coming here for years, I love all the different fungi growing, the one thing I dislike about this place is people destroying nature here! So to all the people who are rudely pulling plants and fungus from their natural habitat I hope your trip!

Nice clean lake with a nice view. The campsites seem to be in order and the trails are nice for walking or exploring.
