Reviews of Lake Lake talquin

This was our first time going to Lake Talquin and I have to say it is beautiful we didn't catch a lot of fish and the stumps are scary .We will go again and get a guide next time so we can learn more about fishing on the lake .

Favorite place to crappie fish!!! Its a 2 hr drive fro my place but worth it!!!

This lake is so quiet and serene. The little cabins and houses are so nice too. I would love to rent a cabin here. The women said the only thing bad is the bugs are very bad during summer she said there were many mosquitoes and many black flies. Also midges midgets frequent the area enough to fill your mouth when you're sleeping. There are also water moccasins and alligators to be expected

A great place to enjoy seeing the animals and plants of wildlife.
