Reviews of Lake East lake

Went on a Saturday night during Christmas. The whole neighborhood has Christmas lights on. It was amazing. Worth going there and talk a stroll after supper. Whole family loved it.

So beautiful at Christmas - seems like everyone that lives there really gets into the spirit of Christmas - there was Santa and Mrs Claus. How fun - loved how all the lights sparkled around the water and some of the boats were even decorated.

Best planned Community with low HOA and a ton of amenities.

The last time we were here (2009) we drove right to the center of the park,handy, but it meant all the other patrons could also drive, the road also formed one of the main route East out of the city. That's all changed. The park is now traffic free and all the better for it. Rental bikes (now a ubiquitous part of the city) are available in large numbers, but we walked and enjoyed the views and rest spots. It also gave us the opportunity to avoid some of the busier parts of the park. Still no connection to the new metro system, but I guess that will come in time. All in all I would highly recommend a days relaxation walking by the lake and enjoying the breeze and the shade of the tree

I just moved here six months ago and this is a great secret I just found out about maybe it’s not even a secret at all LOL but how cool to see Christmas lights in this neighborhood absolutely worth it I’ve gone two or three times so far!
