This is a nice put of the way AZ State Campground. $15/night or $75 for a yearly pass with a two week limit. You can return after two weeks. There are hot showers for $1, restrooms and fresh water. There is a boat launch and areas to put in canoes or kayaks. Another highlight is having wild burros wandering through at all hours! The lake connect to the Colorado River as well for sightseeing and fishing.

It’s a nice place for canoeing but not sure why the bathrooms aren’t open. We paid 10$ for day use and bathrooms are locked up tight

I love this glampground, the showers are hot and the fishing is awesome in the summer, but I had the strangest experience here though once; one winter I was the only camper here aside from the manager, I had a normal night, but woke up in the morning with a lot of fresh bare small feet print (female size 5 maybe)around my camp ... no explanation

Fun place for water activities on the Colorado River. It is located above Imperial Dam on the California side of the river. You can access it from county Rd 24 out of Winterhaven or from Imperial Dam Rd off of US95 near Yuma. Not much in the way of shade, so bring your own if you're staying a while. Closest services are at Hidden Lakes Resort across the river. Multiple boat launch areas.
