Beautiful blue warer lakes with bald eagles, April trout derby, cabins, boat rentals... what's not to like!

Blue lakes is an awesome place. It's really one of the only places to swim in the summer in lake county. I have not been to any of the resorts on these lakes. We just pull over find a spot and enjoy. The water is clean and clear also refreshing. The fishing is really good. The only draw back is the weekends are so crowded. I stopped going. Weekdays got pretty much the whole place to yourself. So stop enjoy the lakes. There are a couple of rope swings to swing off. Great place

Camping fishing swimming boating. The Narrows makes you pay for two night minimum so plan accordingly. But I love the fact that they have little rooms you can rent and also cabins.

Sailing on this lake is pure bliss. Serene and quiet. Multiple swimming holes with easy access to them from the freeway side. For better views and experiences bring a kayak, canoe or paddleboard and get to the other side where the shade is. 5mph boat speed limit. No wake zones.
