Beautiful little lake with a good hiking trail that loops around and allows for direct water access. The trail connects to Spring Lake and other parts of Howarth park as well. The main trails have good benches for resting and are flat for jogging.

One of the best park areas in SR. This was once the main water supply for much of SR and it is now a fun lake to fish in, or paddle around. It is busy when it is warm, but rarely too busy. There are trails all the way around, but keep an eye out for poison oak.

Rent a canoe, kayak, paddle boat or even a sailboat to enjoy quick and easy outings with your family on this 25 acre lake, right in Santa Rosa, or just take a stroll around the numerous trail options. So many hours of multi-generational fun and many memories made here over the years. Don't forget to bring a treat for the ducks, geese and swans or buy some feed from the friendly and helpful young people running the boathouse. For those who fish, plenty of that too.

Caught and released 9.4 lb.bass in the dog days of August. After 4 days and approximately 1000 casts I was rewarded with a fish most people would consider a once in a lifetime trophy.

Good place for a family day at the park. Lake is stocked with trout on a pretty regular basis.
