Soda Lake is alive and well this April 22nd 2023. The blooms are beautiful and so serene. It’s a great time of year to visit.

No people, no cars, no planes, no cops, no noise. Wow, this is peaceful. This is the kind of place where excitement is in slow motion and meditative. You can hike here, camp and take pictures. It is serene. However, when the wildflowers bloom this place the tourists will be here quick. You should also see the wildflowers. This place has no gasoline, so gas up before you get here. There are a few restrooms in the campgrounds or overlooks. Cell service is really spotty. I got 4G with T-Mobile by the Soda Lake overlook. Enjoy this place and don't tell anyone about it or they will ruin it. Remember I said that.

A beautiful lake in Carrizo Plains National Monument that is usually full and surrounded by wildflowers in Spring after a rainy winter season.

Carizzo national monument area, come now to see the wildflower super bloom, things are starting to dry out, flowers will be gone soon. The location is not too far from Paso Robles, plenty of wineries to add interest to the trip.

Soda lake it's close to Carrizo. When I went there there's still a lot of water only the edge of it kind of white. It's nice walking area with nice view. There's no signal, hard to use the map.
