Nice place for local hikes and and an excellent view from the top at Double Peak Park. There are various single track trails to add variety to your hikes.

I didn’t go around the lake, but did spend sometime looking at the ducks.

Great place to relax and enjoy the nature

Very nice lake with ducks swimming in the water. This lake is surrounded by green bushes & many tall trees. Many people are coming for fishing here. Very good trail along the lake & many trails going up the mountain for hiking. One can reach Double Pick Mountain thru trail from here.

Great place prior to Covid. Went tonight TONS of people walking, 99% of them had no masks--which isn't a problem out in fresh air and maintaining distance, but the path around the lake was not one way and so you came face to face with many people. Also people pulled down the yellow caution tape and had their kids playing at the playground. I would hope that a park of this size and with as much foot traffic that it gets it would be monitored a little more. It would be a good idea to sidewalk chalk arrows for a specific walking direction around the lake. There was one guy running and coughing and huffing and puffing with no mask and came within arms reach to many people face to face. Will avoid this place for awhile.
