Reviews of Lake Gold lake

Dubbed MINI GOLD LAKE (not to be confused w/ the large Gold Lake in Lakes Basin Recreation Area). This smaller Gold Lake in the Bucks Lake Wilderness is a wonderful half day hike - from Silver Lake Campground. Amazing views from ridge line trail and secluded lake for a picnic lunch. Weekends can be busy, so be warned you will see other people here. Skinny dippers! Minimal tent camping spots around this small lake, due to the granite terrain. PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) is close by.
