Reviews of Lake Whelan lake

This is a really pleasant place for birding, far enough away from the cities that there isn't much noise but close enough to be within reasonable driving distance. You must call ahead to the caretaker to arrange a visit but that's easy and the caretakers are very nice. The lake itself attracts a good deal of waterfowl and the surrounding area has a good variety of other birds.

Great place to get engaged.

Beautiful and very nice. Great place to check out the birds and the wildlife. Must see.
