Reviews of Lake Lake merritt

Uptown Oakland for a business trip? No better place to unwind than Lake Merritt. I’m guessing a little over three miles circumference. Clean, peaceful, and safe for an enjoyable daytime jog or walk.

It's always nice to walk around the park and enjoy the outdoor space. I enjoy all of the culture. The lake is near so many restaurants. Lake Merritt is a good place to get some activity or take a date. 😍💯

The five stars is because the lake is photogenic. The surrounding buildings and condos make the pictures fantastic. The park felt safe. We went on a weekday morning. There were several people jogging and walking for exercise. Parking was 3 dollars. Make sure to keep any valuables out of sight and lock your car doors.
