Personally I love it. Just to get out of the house and go kick back for a little bit and watch and listen to the ducks. Yeah there is trash on the ground but I pick it up before I leave. I think the biggest issue is the duck poop everywhere, but if you don't mind that this is a perfect place to bring the kids just bring a loaf of bread so they can feed the ducks.

It’s a pretty lake that you can walk around on sidewalks, fish at, or just sit on the benches, admiring the lake and a little solitude. However, I gave it three stars because the amount of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, trashing the place, or just plain aggressive and freaking out on drugs is enough to make what would be otherwise lovely walk an uncomfortable experience. ‘Tis California.

Historical urban neighborhood and a lake . There is an old motor pump on the side of the lake that is neat and it’s history is impressive The city needs to pay more attention to people in need and homeless folks who live by the lake side

Despite the occasional areas of the water that are polluted the wildlife and the park itself is beautiful
