Reviews of Lake Turlock lake

My last visit, was my 1st visit. I didn't even know that this body of water was in my backyard. I was always commuting to work & never had time. Now I'm retired and had 2 of my grandsons over for a week, so I had to find something to do. WOW!! We all had such a great day. Lol...The boys couldn't wait to tease their younger siblings & tell their parents. The lake is well maintained, the bathrooms are clean and park entrance is only $12 to park, play and have fun. This, has by far, been my least expensive outing yet. And yes, we're definitely going back. *Personal Note: suggestion; pack a sunshade, food, snacks and plenty of fluids. Don't forget the Towels, beach chairs, sunblock & face masks *(just in case) 😁Enjoy the adventure. 🤞Be safe & have fun.

This place is so nice alot better than other locations we've visited in Modesto. The water is sooooooo cold but it was nice to hangout with the family

I did some Bowfishing back by the inlet and the carp were everywhere.

Do not waste your gas. The lake is closed and the recreation area is destroyed. Bathrooms and all other buildings are also destroyed with windows shot out and abandoned vehicles and garbage all over the place...
