Reviews of Lake Hesperia lake

Nice place to bring the family. Some can fish, some can enjoy the park area and feed the ducks. There are campgrounds we did not utilize and open areas for recreation. Kids loved it.

Really good a bunch of the fish that we catch or monsters and really big. The only problem is that they never bite. It’s pretty rare.

Awesome park. Plenty of shady areas and tables. There's a small flowing creek, and fairly new kids playground with slides and swings.

This lake is a fun escape and is very convenient to folks that live in the High Desert. We have camped here several times and have never had any issues. The “Hesperia days” events are always fun to attend/camp. They have live music, food vendors and several local businesses who attend. Great place to escape and allow the kids to be kids! Tip for parents- stop by the shop as you walk in and pick up a cold beverage and $1.00 bag of duck feed. Take advantage of your drink and have fun watching the kids feed the wildlife. (Do not hit or allow your kids to hit the geese. Staff will likely kick you out and locals will laugh at you)

I'm going to have to give this place 1.5 out of 5 .The views are great but I was told there was 6000lb just stocked 3 days before Of FISH 🐟 they charged me & my son 50$ for 5hrs fishing & not one bite so I walked the lake & asked almost 35 people what there luck was & not one person said they had a bit . I can't help but think it's just another California scam 😕. If you just want to go for a walk & feed some ducks & see some nice views than it's worth it because they don't charge to walk the park but as far as a fishing 🎣 Spot I'd have say just get you own license & drive up the road another 10 minutes & pay 10$ for parking & go to Silverwood Lake & truly enjoy your summer day .
