“HeavenLA “ Get away & the Most Breathtaking fusion of Lake , Nature , Animals & Mountains while You Kayak, Paddle board &/or swim . Relaxing Exoerience from solo , Friends-group, couples & family including Fur babies ~ pets must have accurate fit life jacket , leashed & well behaved . Respect State parks & clean up after pets , trash & recycle in designated bins thru out the park to maintain clean & sanitary picnic areas . Across the 15min. Loading dock there are well maintained restrooms . The Best part for Safety is tht there are separate areas for Recreation , Fishing & Boating . Upon entrance , The Guys at security gate will kindly inspect Life Jackets Inc pet life jackets if on lake recreation , kayak, paddle boards as a precautionary tht all are up to standard . Mr.Joe & I didn’t get the other guys name are the coolest while inspecting gear & going over the safety protocol . There is a posted sign park open frm sunrise to sunset . All recreation must be out of the water by 6pm. My Boys & I visited late in the afternoon today /Friday so there were enough parking spaces (Due to LADodgers play~offs game?) Parking Lot will fill up fast during weekends & Holidays so Arrive Early. Visiting from further parts of California or another state there are surrounding variety of Hotels , Restaurants , Shopping & Fuel Stations . Google website for accurate directions & hours .

Fishing is always good here. They offer campsites just above the lagoon. Coin operated showers are available. There's a swim beach for the summer season and they sometimes have fishing derby's for kids.

Usually stop in a couple times a month for some night fishing off of the 24 hour dock! I've caught a couple, but more often than not, I get nothing. But the people there, if any, are always friendly, and it's a safe spot to bring the kiddos. Over the weekend of 8/14, I rented paddle boards for my first time ever and that was a ton of fun! I'll be doing that again for sure! Overall, a decent spot. Beautiful landscape...however, lots of cockroaches, which kinda creep me out.

We had a good time at the lake and swimming. Its really nice that they have lifeguards. We BBQ with friends and enjoyed the playground too.
