The dark red photos here aren't doctored - they were taken during the active evacuation period during the fires when the air itself was the color of Satan. This beautiful spot belongs to Turtle Pond Farms, but the owner is total chill and doesn't mind people coming to this spot to use as one of the few places on the mountain that has cellular reception. It's also a fantastic place to go bullfrog hunting, and we often have frogleg cookoffs from bullfrogs caught here, which are in enormous abundance. Orr you can just relax and enjoy and feed the hundreds of pretty colored Koi fish that will even follow you around looking for a handout
