Reviews of Lake Long lake

I love long lake. Water is so clean. Swimming in long lake is fantastic. A lot of easy or harder trails around the lake.

Great place to swim and hike. The hike is moderate to easy, but very pretty - cub lake, silver lake, little bear lake, big bear lake, and the PCT are all easily accessible from the trailhead.

I've been going here all my life, this is nearly home for me in my mind. The greater lakes basin area is becoming increasingly popular, the new mountain bike trail and greater influx from tourists in Reno have me worried about the over-all environmental impact. The local districts Plumas and Sierra hardly involve the community in asking them what needs to be done with the land. All orders filter down from D.C.
