Reviews of Lake Upper franklin canyon reservoir

A beautiful and tranquil location. Another great lace to walk or hike and have a picnic with a family. Lots of big trees to provide plenty of shade even during the hot summer. Road up was not my favorite and we turned the wrong way at first but on the way out we took a different way down and ended up in Beverly Hills so the drive back home was great.

It's so serene here it's hard to believe you're in the 90210.

First discovered this little gem some 20 years ago when I was working on a house nearby. I'll admit it I definitely saw it as a peaceful scenic shortcut during rush hour traffic as a way to avoid Coldwater canyon between Mulholland and sunset. But it is also just the best little place to feel like your no longer in LA I like to visit at least once a year to walk around and take pictures.

Not sure how to get in here but this location was used for the introduction of the classical Andy Griffith Show.
