Solid hike, about 2.5 hrs round trip. The waterfall from the dam had a refreshing mist. I’ve been on more scenic and challenging hikes, this one felt more like a casual stroll but there was views of the river and Forrest hill bridge.

It was a great time, decent place to paddle board but your out of the 5 mph zone for the majority of your trip so you’ve really got to watch the wakes and not so nice boats who purposely try to make bigger wakes for you and spray you with water

Gorgeous place for friends or families, 2.5 last part of road is really narrow, be prepare to pay 10 bucks for parking if you can find one, there is only 25 parking place available, be equipped with tire chain or 4WD for winter time
