This was one of the best paddle boarding spots. Beautiful.

Place is trashed at the ramps/beach area, boats and jet skis do not follow 5mph speed limit. 1 star. Once you get past where boats can go, and too far for locals. 5 stars!

It was so peaceful and worth the drive. Definitely planning on coming back here.

Great park with a lake too so you can do some soft water sports. Beautiful surroundings, lake and land.

The creek is great for kayaking, swimming, boating (small craft), fishing, and having a picnic. Some people jump off the cliff walls. Narrow and rocky, the creek offers marvelous Arizona sky and breathtaking rock formations. McHood Park is the servicing area to slip your boat and grab a park table. Parking fills up fast. There is a playground and a campsite across the way. Unfortunately, there is a lot of graffiti defacing the rocks and trash litters the area.
