Reviews of Lake Dogtown reservoir

I like going here !!! Good place to camp at in the summer months , they have good fishing here and they stock this lake regularly with a few different species of fish.

Beautiful views. Nice campground. The area is being way too overfished though, fisherman every 10 to 30 feet so there were only tiny crappie when my husband and I were there last weekend.

We LOVED this place. Dogtown Lake campsite was well kept, the campground hosts were so sweet, beautiful weather, and the lake was breathtaking! We loved it so much we stayed a second night.

Great place for fishing, hiking and camping.. went for a fishing n day picnic in Oct 2019.. got some good fish.. they still had some good color on the leaves..

I love bringing the family here to relax and fish. My only and common complaint is people who have no common curtesy with their kayaks and paddleboard floating w close to shore where your fishing line is. And those who treat the lakes like it's the beach, or like lake Powell swimming .
