It is always nice to get away at the end of a work day. My family loves to fish here and its less than an hour away from where we live.

Very most recent. Theres only trout here. Back then use to have Catfish until some idiot threw Goldfish into the lake but thankfully there nothing now... NN Dept of Fish & Wildlife NEEED to RESTOCK it with CATFISH & CRAPPIE. PEOPLE NEED TO PICKUP THEIR TRASH and quit leaving liquor containers there (dont be that a**h***)...

A tad chilly in the morning, but a nice walk around the lake if you're into communing with nature. Many locals fishing. Plenty of sights for those interested in ornithology/bird watching. Bring water and a wide hat. Don't go in if raining, muddy roads.

I always enjoy fishing here and I always meet my catch limit. Not a bad place to camp and enjoy the southwest and Navajo reservation under the awesome and highly visible stars at night.
