Beautiful lake. Options for camping include on site cabins. A must see if you are visiting the area.

We spent the new year at this state park. It was very busy, people in party mode. The lake is beautiful, popular for fishing. There are some nice hikes straight from the camp. It's a big park with some trees but not much privacy between pitches. The showers and toilets are kept clean. There is a shop for bare essentials, shop before you go - it's a long way from anywhere. It's at altitude so cold at night, but it is winter. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates.

Awesome place to hike, bike, kayak, and boat. The pontoons are reasonably priced. This place is a birds galore. Beach is great but no dogs allowed.

Absolutely wonderful! It was cooler than Tucson which was a bonus! The bathrooms were spotless and the wildlife was abundant. It was quiet mid week.

Beautiful little lake. Has great views, good fishing, plenty of room to play with your pull toys. All of our families and all of our kids just love to go and hang out there and play in the water.
